I am stuggling to help my husband who has type 2. Can anyone tell me which vegetables and fruits are good for him. I have gone on so many sites and one site will tell me that a certain fruit is good for him and then another site will tell me that he cannot eat that fruit. I am so confussed.

Monkeybutt: Diabetes can't always be prevented. There is family history that has to be taken into account. If someone is active with a healthy diet and weight, they reduce their risk. In some cases, such as mine, it can only be prolonged. Family history dictated it was more of a matter of "when" than "if"
